I am a native New Yorker, born in Manhattan, and a first-generation American.  My parents and sister immigrated from what is now Croatia a year before I was born.  I spoke Italian before I spoke English and learned how to speak English by watching television when I was little.

 I worked at the Veteran’s Administration for over 30 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, both in New York and Nevada, and retired from there in 2021.

 I moved to Henderson in 2002 and have loved living here-I love the beautiful weather and was very happy to leave the snow, rain and clouds in New York!!  I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, reading and gardening.
